Vacanze - Holiday

La vacanza è puro ozio, è passare dentro i pensieri di sfuggita, è camminare fra le ore come se ci si trovasse lì per puro caso.

La vacanza è la sospensione del tempo.

E' agosto...

finalmente si pensa alle ferie e alle vacanze che ci aspettano, soprattutto pensando al brutto periodo che sta pian piano passando e si pensa anche al nuovo challenge del blog Sognando Scrap e il tema proposto è proprio "Vacanze".

Ho a disposizione un paio di bellissimi timbri digitali dello sponsor di questo mese, SheepSki Designs e decido che questo mi piace proprio!

ho stampato il timbro digitale sulla mia inseparabile carta Favini da 200 gr. ritagliandola nelle misure 15x10. 

Well...

I printed the digital stamp on my inseparable 200gsm Favini paper, cutting it out in 15x10 size. 

Ho deciso da che parte far venire la luce in modo da stabilire come poi fare le ombre... (vista la posizione della sedia a sdraio ho scelto la destra) e ho cominciato a colorare con le mie magiche Prismacolor giocando con i vari chiaro/scuro.

I decided on which side the light would come from in order to establish how to make the shadows... (considering the position of the deckchair I chose the right one) and I started to colour with my magic Prismacolor playing with the various light/dark.

Una volta completato il tutto, per dare luccichio al mare, ho steso del Nuvo Jewel Drops"Sea Breeze Translucent" con un pennello sottile e ho lasciato asciugare.

Once completed, to give the sea shimmer, I applied Nuvo Jewel Drops "Sea Breeze Translucent" with a fine brush and let it dry.

Nel frattempo ho tagliato due patterned diverse, ma in tinta col progetto, di un centimetro più grandi: la prima 16x11 e la seconda 17x12. Ho recuperato un foglio Fabriano ruvido da 200 gr e l'ho tagliato 18x26 e piegato a metà in modo da ottenere un 18x13.

In the meantime I cut two different patterned papers, but matching the design, one centimetre bigger: the first 16x11 and the second 17x12. I recovered a 200gsm rough Fabriano sheet and cut it 18x26 and folded it in half to make 18x13.

Ho incollato i vari strati uno sopra l'altro e, con l'aiuto della platform, ho stampato il sentiment utilizzando un timbro di Modascrap e il tampone d'inchiostro Versafine Onyx Black facendo in modo che la timbrata fosse nitida anche ai livelli sottostanti.

I glued the layers on top of each other and, with the help of the platform, I stamped the sentiment using a Modascrap stamp and Versafine Onyx Black ink pad, making sure that the stamping was sharp even on the layers below.

Usando le Pentel Energel colorate ho creato delle "cornici" attorno ad ogni foglio completando così la card.

Using the coloured Pentel Energels, I created "frames" around each sheet, thus completing the card.
